How Negative Emotions Affect Our Organs - An Introduction

This is a short series on how negative emotions affect our organs...let's start with an overview!

Negative emotions can affect our organs, creating tension and pain. For example, as we encounter stress, the first organ to be affected is the small intestine. This creates a tight, painful, bloated stomach, poor digestion, constipation, PMS and other symptoms. This can have a flow on effect to other organ systems and affect the entire body, including the heart, lungs, liver, gall bladder, stomach, spleen, pancreas, large intestines and kidneys, depending on the type of stress and symptoms. We can use chi ne tsang to release tension, detoxify the organs and teach stress-management skills. This is not to say negative emotions are bad, in chi ne tsang we work on what is out of balance. We need a balance between positive and negative to be healthy, this is the Tao of health. If you're feeling out of balance, chi ne tsang can help.
